The system provides tower controllers with real-time visibility of airport surface operations through an advanced optical assistance platform. Through human-machine interaction, controllers can access detailed operational information. Core modules include panoramic video processing, flight plan processing, external data integration, human-machine interface (HMI), recording and playback, and system monitoring.
Powered by an AI engine, the system enables panoramic video analytics, target recognition and tracking, and image enhancement. Using augmented reality (AR) technology, key information such as aircraft status and meteorological data is overlaid onto real-time video feeds.
The solution significantly optimizes surface taxi operations at Nanning Wuxu International Airport and enables automatic detection of unauthorized intrusions into protected areas such as runways and taxiways, moving toward unattended operational management.
With deployment across 10 monitoring points, the system achieves full coverage of both the eastern and western airside operational areas. It is now fully operational, with strong positive feedback from users.
