I. Product Positioning
The 5G Intelligent Airfield Lighting Control System is a next-generation smart control solution designed for airport airside areas, including runways, taxiways, aprons, and approach zones. Centered on 5G AeroMACS dedicated communication, and integrating IoT, AI algorithms, and digital twin technology, the system enables real-time monitoring, intelligent dimming, fault warning, remote control, and safety interlocking across all airfield lighting assets.
It significantly enhances airport operational safety, efficiency, and energy performance.

III. Core Functions
1. Full-Field Real-Time Monitoring
Provides visualized monitoring of lighting status, fault locations, and alarm information across the entire airfield. Supports filtering by area, circuit, or asset type.
Integrates flight schedules and surface movement data to enable coordinated monitoring of lighting, flights, and ground operations.
2. Intelligent Dimming & Scenario-Based Control
Supports one-click activation of predefined scenarios such as standard operations, low visibility, emergency response, maintenance, and energy-saving modes.
Enables adaptive lighting adjustment based on environmental conditions and dynamic flight activity.
Also supports individual light-level control for fine-grained management.
3. Fault Prediction & Intelligent Maintenance
Features real-time fault diagnostics with second-level alerts for issues such as lamp failures, circuit anomalies, communication interruptions, and sensor faults.
Accurately pinpoints fault locations and automatically generates maintenance work orders, assigning responsibilities and tracking resolution progress—forming a closed-loop process of “early warning – dispatch – handling – verification.”
4. Safety Interlocking & Surface Guidance
Integrates aircraft and vehicle positioning to automatically control runway status lights, enabling Runway Status Lights (RWSL) interlocking and effectively preventing runway incursions.
Based on centimeter-level positioning, the system provides dynamic taxi guidance lighting for aircraft, improving both taxi efficiency and operational safety.
5. Energy Efficiency & Data Analytics
Through on-demand dimming, zonal control, and reduced load during idle periods, overall energy consumption can be reduced by 20%–30%.
The system also performs multi-dimensional analysis of fault frequency, dimming strategies, and maintenance efficiency, providing data-driven support for operational decision-making.
